Employment Documents
It can be a real headache for busy HR managers to ensure that all of their employment documents are in order.
As an absolute minimum, any reputable employer should have issued the following documentation:
- Contract of employment,
- Disciplinary procedure,
- Grievance procedure,
- Data protection policy,
- Dignity at work policy,
- IT and social media policy.
We can draft these employment documents and many other important employment law procedures for you. Or if needed, we can draft a whole Company Handbook. Alternatively, you may already have policies and procedure in place and we can advise on updating them to comply with statutory changes or HR good practice.
You may have specific requirements that are important to your industry. If so, it is important that employees are aware of your requirements. If you have policies and procedures, you need to have evidence that you have provided them to your employees. If the employee is unaware of policies and procedures, it will be harder to discipline or dismiss. Hopefully you will never have to discipline or dismiss but policies and procedures still remain important documents to ensure that employees know what is expected of them.
